Student Lifecycle Team Leader

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Student Lifecycle team in Academic Services. Working alongside Student Lifecycle Manager, you will support planning and management of the work of the Student Lifecycle team to ensure related academic administration services are high quality and responsive, and effectively support delivery of educational programmes across the University. You will therefore have proven experience of planning and resource management in a similar or related context.

You will have experience of HE academic administration in a Registry or similar context linked to activities such as student enrolment and data maintenance, assessment and progression, curriculum build, examinations, conferment and graduation and support for student-related statutory returns. You will lead the coordination and delivery of specific activities within the Student Lifecycle remit.

Excellent communication skills are required to build positive relationships with Faculty colleagues and to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. You will require the ability to think logically and work systematically to manage and monitor a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities, develop and implement strategies to ensure continuous enhancement of processes, and ensure deadlines are met. You will have excellent team leadership skills and proven experience of managing a team including recruitment and induction, appraisal and performance management and supporting staff development.
