We are looking for a highly motivated researcher to independently develop a world-class portfolio of research on processes of knowledge exchange, co-production and research policy, and the wider effects of the impact agenda on the academy and society. You will work with interdisciplinary colleagues from across Newcastle University in the Centre for Rural Economy and the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences.

You will hold a PhD in the study of knowledge exchange, expertise and research impact, and will have made outstanding contributions to research and scholarship, with a substantial body of peer-reviewed publications in high quality outlets and a proven funding track record. As part of the role, you will generate new research funding and publish cutting edge interdisciplinary social science.

The post is fixed term for a duration of 22 months.
