The University is now seeking to appoint a Business Change Management Specialist to make a real impact, embed a culture, and develop the capability of our leaders to undertake continuous improvement across the University.  Reporting to the Head of Performance and Change within Human Resources, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a significant role in supporting business change management and continuous improvement across the University.

This role is part of the wider Performance and Change team within HR at Plymouth, and will work closely with all areas across the University providing a vital strategic interface between the HR function and faculty / professional service areas, supporting and developing local leaders and their teams to facilitate local change that sticks. The role holder will operate across the University in a way that meets local needs whilst honouring and contributing to the delivery of the University’s strategic priorities.

We are looking for an experienced professional in business change management to join this inclusive and inspiring university community. This is an opportunity for a strong team player who is able to work alongside all levels of leaders and their staff to enhance their working practices, processes and culture. Bringing a wealth of experience of change management in practice you will build capability and confidence in teams across the University as you translate change management theories into practice. With experience of working on the inside of organisations as part of an HR/Organisational Change function in order to affect cultural change you will have significant experience of navigating within a complex organisation, and a track record of effective change within an equivalent context.

The role will be fixed term for 12 months initially, but is a non-consultancy role.

This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week.
