About You

You will be creative and innovative in your approach to teaching and learning English Language, this combined with your successful teaching experience in the higher education sector and relevant subject knowledge (as evidenced by teaching or research) will enable you to succeed.

You will be able to act as a role model, must be flexible and responsive to changing needs with a professional approach to work. Higher qualifications relevant to the post, such as a Postgraduate degree, a professional qualification, or evidence of satisfactory progress towards such qualifications is essential.

About the Role

You will provide expert teaching and assessment on BA English Language modules.

You will be expected to make a substantial contribution to BA teaching, playing a significant role in the delivery of optional English Language modules in the area of sociolinguistics. Candidates should be confident teachers of degree-level English Language, capable of teaching general and foundational modules in Level 4 (first-year undergraduate) and subject study skills.
