Student Education Service Officer

Do you have a technical background with experience of using virtual learning environments, on-line support systems and timetabling software? Are you a well organised individual, with excellent communication skills and able to problem solve? 

You will be part of the student education team, contributing to learning and teaching processes through the provision of technical and administrative support. In particular you will have experience of supporting the use of a virtual learning environment (VLE) using Blackboard and /or other learning technologies, functions and tools, and of using social media. You will also provide timetabling, room booking and Quality Assurance support to other members of the team.

With experience of working in an administrative role and providing support for student education practices and processes, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to identify and suggest improvements to the service provided.

You will be well organised, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work. You will be able to multi-task and move between tasks at short notice to meet deadlines. You will work collaboratively with team members and academic colleagues within your Faculty and Central Services to share good practice and encourage knowledge exchange between colleagues to facilitate continuous improvement.
