The Blavatnik School of Government is seeking to appoint a conscientious and collaborative Office Assistant (Dean’s Office) to provide essential support for the effective running of the School, across the Dean’s Office, Finance and Executive Education. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for varied and interesting work within a busy, stimulating and challenging environment.

As the Office Assistant (Dean’s Office), you will work closely with the Head of the Executive Office, and other team members, in providing logistical support for the day-to-day business of the office; including organising/preparing papers, meetings, visitors and overseas travel. You will also work closely with the Finance team, supporting them with processing transactions and maintaining accurate records, and provide the Executive Education team with support in the organisation and operation of courses.

The successful candidate will need excellent team working skills with a flexible can-do approach and a willingness to adapt to changing needs and priorities across the School. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a clear understanding of the important aspects of customer service, and the ability to demonstrate a personable and diplomatic approach when dealing with a diverse range of people. You will have a systematic, thorough and well organised approach to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good IT and numeracy skill, with the ability to learn new systems are essential.
