Postdoctoral Research Associate

This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 36 months.

This is a Full-time position.

We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate with training and experience in experimental, neurocognitive and/or clinical/behavioural studies with young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The appointee will lead a school-age follow-up of the BASIS high-risk sibling cohort ( seen previously as infants and toddlers. A particular focus will be on neurocognitive approaches that may help us understand how and why ASD is commonly associated with other neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and anxiety. The post is full-time for 3 years and is funded by the MRC. The postholder will be supervised by Prof. Tony Charman (Department of Psychology, IoPPN) and Dr. Emily Jones (Birkbeck) and will work closely with co-investigators Prof. Mark Johnson (Cambridge/Birkbeck) and Prof. Andrew Pickles (IoPPN). 

The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
