The Faculty recruits a number of part-time Teaching Fellows in a range of subjects each year.  Teaching Fellows at UCL Laws deliver classes and mark formative assessments and on our undergraduate and graduate modules and may be expected to contribute to examination marking.

This is an open call advertisement for Teaching Fellows for a range of taught modules for the 2018-19 academic year.  Candidates will be shortlisted based on the teaching needs of the Faculty for the next academic year, and the candidate’s evidence against the essential criteria detailed in the Person Specification.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview during the course of the summer.

Teaching Fellow (Part-time; Fixed-term)

Hours per week (%FTE): 7.3 hours per week (20% FTE)

This will be a part-time fixed-term appointment and is available from 01 October 2018 (until March 2019). The post holder will be appointed on a fixed-term contract.

Teaching Fellow (Part-time; Seasonal)

This will be a part-time seasonal appointment and is available from 01 October 2018.

Applicants will need to have a higher level degree in Law or other relevant experience, relevant expertise in their area of legal specialism, excellent presentation skills and good organisational skills. They must possess the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and be familiar with using online learning environments. Strong IT skills, in particular, proficient in Microsoft package. Familiarity with using audio-visual equipment would be desirable.
