This post is available until 31 March 2021 to be an active member of the research team in the scientific challenges of the SALINA project which aims to investigate the processes that govern saltwater intrusion into coastal aquifers and to determine methodologies for advanced warning of such intrusions.  The successful candidate will plan and deliver the research activity within the context of the project deliverables so that the overall research objectives are met. They will be an active member of the wider hydraulics and intelligent infrastructure groups within the School.

The successful candidate must have:

  • An Honours Degree at 2.1 or better in Engineering, Geoscience or equivalent subject.
  • Experience of applying specialist skills and techniques to planning and conducting experimental investigations
  • Ability and willingness to organise, manage and administer dissemination of the project as and when required
