The Facilities Directorate (FD) is the largest provider of services to University staff and students on campus. It employs approximately 1,200 staff and encompasses Estate Services, Residential and Accommodation Services, Commercial and Campus Support Services and Sustainability.

Working as a Finance & Procurement Assistant within the FD’s Procurement Team, you will undertake procurement administration in line with University procedures and regulations, ensuring that a high standard of service is delivered to our customers at all times. Your primary focus will be to process purchase orders using the University’s accounting system (SAP) and assisting with the gathering and analysing of data. You will also be expected to develop a full understanding of the complete purchase to pay process, ensuring that best value for money is achieved at all times.
