Salary: The salary will be paid at Grade 7, £41,212, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

Contract Type: This post will be a fixed term contract (maternity cover) until 31 August 2019.

Summer Programmes seek an experienced and talented Programme Manager and education professional to lead on the market leading and highly successful King’s Pre-University programmes for high school students.

The role will be responsible for the project planning, management and delivery of all Pre-University (high school) programmes. They will work with faculty and academic tutors on programme development and delivery, as well as manage a team of temporary administrative staff, to ensure the highest quality of service and programme standards for our students. The role will also oversee the academic services provision, liaising with other King’s departments including Library and Registry Services.

Successful candidates will require excellent project management skills including communication, organisation and event management. They will have experience of working within an educational setting, either within a school or HE; and experience of programme and curriculum design and development would be advantageous. They should be an enthusiastic team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

King’s Summer Programmes is a cross-faculty unit within King’s College London responsible for developing a summer teaching portfolio that showcases King’s research-led teaching. In addition to capitalising on King’s academics to ensure a high quality of teaching across all programmes, we work with prominent global institutions to accelerate learning, and educate to inspire our summer students.
