EAP Tutor

These posts will be Fixed-term (One until early-April 2019, and two until late May/early June 2019.

We wish to appoint 3 EAP tutors to cover teaching across the full range of EAP programmes for existing and prospective students of the University. You are likely to have a background in teaching on a variety of EAP programmes and to have experience in original EAP material creation in a variety of media. We are particularly interested in hearing from tutors with a background in teaching on programmes which prepare students for entry into STEM or business degrees.

You will be educated to a minimum of master’s level, preferably in the area of TESOL/Applied Linguistics (we will consider those currently undertaking a master’s) and will hold a DELTA/Trinity TESOL diploma (or equivalent), either completed or near completion.

Reporting to a programme coordinator, you will be based at the ELC (Strand Campus). However, like all members of the Centre, you may be asked to work on any of the King's campuses.

Note that all tutors will act as personal tutors, including for under 18 year olds, and so an enhanced DBS check is part of our recruitment procedure.
