About the role:

The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including doctoral level studies. Our provisions include BSc pre-registration nursing and foundation degree studies. Our portfolio of clinically focussed courses for postgraduates includes studies for those wishing to undertake advanced level practice. Our dynamic approach ensures that our students receive a high quality, research-informed, educational experience. Internationally, we have excellent research in social work and social policy, and have a number of world-leading nursing and healthcare researchers in our Faculty.

Our Faculty constantly pursues innovative approaches to develop and deliver curricula to meet the ever changing educational needs of the Health and Social Care workforce. We’re seeking a committed and experienced practitioner to enhance the Clinical Skills teaching within our established Adult Nursing courses. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to developing innovation in clinical skills teaching and learning, and we’re looking for an individual particularly interested in developing technology enhanced simulated clinical skills.

With a degree and professional registered qualification in Adult Nursing, you’ll have a broad spectrum of clinical skills and teaching experience. Applicants without previous teaching experience will be expected to work towards gaining a postgraduate teaching qualification.
