We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring individual to join our successful and highly committed team in delivering learning to our Paramedic Science students.

Working in the Department of Allied Health Professions comprising of Paramedic Science Cluster this post will focus on teaching and supporting students on a number of programmes including BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science, Paramedic Science HE Diploma and other CPD modules.

You will be suitably experienced paramedic who can demonstrate particular experience in clinical practice and evidence of experience or a keen interest in research. 

A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, assessment and treatment techniques and clinical reasoning is essential. An ability to demonstrate previous university and/or practice based educational experience is also desirable.

Responsibilities will include teaching and marking, module leadership (if appointed at senior lecturer level), an academic and personal tutor role, research support for undergraduate students, clinical visiting, and being part of the paramedic team in curriculum development and quality monitoring. Input to the B.Sc. (Hons) Paramedic Science, DipHE Paramedic Science and CPD modules will be expected.

This post requires an enhanced DBS clearance.

There are 2 full time posts available – 1 X Permanent and 1 X Fixed term for 2 years.
