Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Law)

UWE Bristol Law School wish to recruit Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Law. They will contribute to delivery across the existing suite of Academic and Professional Law programmes

Candidates are sought who have the potential to contribute to both the Department’s overall teaching needs; the development of its programmes in light of the Legal Education Training Review; and the enhancement of programmes in the context of the NSS & TEF.

Applicants are sought with prior teaching experience. This can be from a background of either teaching academic law LLB/LLM programmes and/or as a qualified solicitor/barrister with experience of teaching professional law BPTC/GDL/LPC programmes.

Applicants will ideally be able to demonstrate experience of teaching &/or practice within the following subject/programme fields:
- Business, company & commercial law
- Property & trusts law (including probate, estates and tax) ;
- Litigation (Civil & Criminal)
- Banking and insurance law;

-Medical Law
- Skills teaching on both academic and professional programmes

Applications are also welcomed from those who could contribute to the Department’s growing range of pro-bono, business advice and external engagement activities.
