Lecturer - Digital Marketing

The School of Creative and Cultural Business seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Digital Marketing to join its dynamic team.

The continued growth and influence of digital marketing in all sectors emphasises the need for delivery within this field across the breadth of provision within the School of Creative and Cultural Business. This important role is required to contribute to the high quality delivery within the rapidly expanding field of Digital Marketing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a major contribution to the development and enhancement of research in this subject area. The School has developed significant expertise in the creative industries, and has ambitious research plans going forward. This work also links to the University's broader strategic priority areas, including 'Big Data' and the 'Centre for Northern Culture and Design'. The successful candidate will be expected to play a strategic role in extending this body of knowledge, as well as contributing high quality research output to the relevant submission for the next REF. You must have significant knowledge and subject expertise evidenced by research and/or consultancy and be able to foster and develop collaborative links with academic, business, third sector and public sector partners.

Salary on appointment will be dependent upon experience. 

Candidates with limited/no lecturing experience will be placed on the first point of the scale, although consideration will be given to a market supplement (reviewed bi-annually) for those with specific industry experience.
