Assistant or Associate Professor - Psycholinguistics (74868-048)

You will contribute to the Centre’s rapidly growing portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and engage actively with the Centre’s Research activities.

You will be an ambitious linguist, with expertise in psycholinguistics. Applicants with a specialism in two or more of the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply: first language acquisition, second language acquisition, language and cognition, multilingualism, quantitative research methodology, semantics. This is an exciting opportunity for a psycholinguist with an interest in curriculum development to play a key role in the expanding provision in linguistics at Warwick.

You will have a PhD in Linguistics or a cognate area. You will have an excellent record of recent, high quality publications in top-rated journals (commensurate with level of experience) and successful experience of teaching psycholinguistics and quantitative research at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. You will have solid knowledge of relevant pedagogy and able to contribute to modules that meet teaching needs across our linguistics courses.

Start date: 1 September 2018 or as soon as possible after that.
