Cardiff University, College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, School of Dentistry invites applications for the a 1.0 FTE post of Clinical Lecturer (Teacher) or Senior Clinical Lecturer (Teacher) in Restorative Dentistry.

This post provides an exciting opportunity to play a major role in the teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate dental students studying at the School of Dentistry and in particular the teaching and management of patients requiring advanced prosthodontic care, including implants.

You will be a dynamic individual with experience in dental education and expertise in Restorative Dentistry or an associated discipline. You will be committed to delivering the highest standards in dental education to our undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. You will be capable of leading and working as part of a team. This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to the teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate dental students studying at the School of Dentistry, Cardiff University.

This post is suitable for those with aspirations of wishing to further their academic dental career, to those who are considered specialists.

The successful candidate will be awarded an appropriate honorary clinical contract by Cardiff and Vale Local University Health Board.

This post is full-time and open-ended.

An appointment at either Clinical Lecturer D1 £31,931 - £59,402 per annum or D2, Senior Clinical Teacher (sub consultant) £51,175 - £72,393 per annum will be made dependent upon skills and experience. It is anticipated the maximum starting salary for a D2 Level appointment would be £51,175 per annum.
