This project is in partnership with Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia (UniMAP). In this project, novel nano-geopolymer ceramic reinforced SnCu solder will be fabricated and evaluated as a replacement to traditional lead-based solders. The nano-structure and material properties of the lead-free solder and their reliability at the solder, package and board levels will be studied.

You should have experience of research design, material evaluation, ultrasonic non-destructive testing and evaluation, reliability testing and failure analysis of electronics, and signal/image processing.
