Research is at the centre of Cardiff Business School's activities. Cardiff Business School is ranked 6th in the UK for the quality of its research in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) and is one of only two business schools in the UK to be ranked in the top ten in each of the Government’s five assessment exercises since 1992.

Cardiff Business School now seeks to appoint a Professor of Marketing and Strategy to join a team that has a reputation for developing innovative and impactful research and for publishing in leading international journals on topics including consumer behaviour, innovation, marketing strategy, international marketing, strategic management and sustainable marketing. The Section delivers a wide range of teaching, particular through its contribution to the School’s undergraduate Business Management programme, its MBA programme and the Section’s specialist Masters programmes. It also has an active group of PhD researchers and a range of strong connections with research institutes, networks and practitioner organisations. These allow the Section’s research and engagement activities to contribute strongly to the School’s ‘Public Value’ mission.

This Professorial position is full-time and open-ended.

The salary will be on the Professorial scale and will be commensurate with the experience and achievements of the successful applicant.
