Salary: Depending on qualifications and experience Range: £33,518 - £38,833 pa

Tenure: 3 years

The Rocha laboratory focus on understanding how cells sense and respond to low oxygen. We are looking for Postdoctoral Researcher to integrate a Wellcome Trust funded Collaborative award in science project to investigate the Interplay between PHDs and the cell cycle. This project involves the close collaboration of the Rocha lab with Professor Angus Lamond (Dundee), Professor Jason Swedlow (Dundee) and Professor Stewart Fleming (Dundee).

You should have a PhD degree in Biological Sciences and related areas and experience of mammalian cell culture, molecular and cellular biology techniques. Knowledge of Mass Spectrometry, and oxygen sensing and/or cell cycle signalling is highly desired. In addition, involvement with this project will include travel to Dundee at least once a year. The post is available from 30 May 2018 until 29 May 2021.
