Ambitious Futures is the national graduate leadership scheme for Higher Education, and is hosted by the University of Nottingham.  We are seeking a highly motivated individual to manage the operations of the Ambitious Futures Programme and successfully contribute to the delivery of its goals.

The role holder will have excellent planning and organisational skills as well as the ability to take ownership of complex situations. The Programme Manager interacts with a range of colleagues, including scheme applicants, trainees, external contractors, Programme Directors and Registrars in universities across the country, and sound interpersonal and communication skills are required. The ability to use initiative, exercise tact and diplomacy and work both autonomously and collaboratively are essential to manage and maintain the relationship with participating institutions and act as ambassador for the scheme. The ability to manage the day-to-day finances of the scheme along with IT proficiency to develop and maintain the Ambitious Future’s website and portal are also needed. Proficiency in the use of social media could be an advantage. 

This part time post is available from early February and will be offered on a fixed term contract to 30th September 2021 working 29 hours per week (0.8 FTE).
