Director of Central Timetabling

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional individual in the role as Director of Central Timetabling, based in the Registry, to take responsibility for the operation and development of the timetabling processes and the use of technology and data, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with College strategies.

Duties and responsibilities

You will:
• ensure the effective delivery of teaching and examination timetables in liaison with academic departments and in collaboration with other central support services departments
• analyse and provide commentary on timetable related-data, including occupancy and utilisation rates
• undertake forecasting to support evidence-based decision-making
• ensure dissemination of periodic reports to stakeholders

Essential requirements

You will have:
• good honours degree or equivalent work experience
• significant experience of successful team management and service delivery
• previous experience of Timetabling systems and software and a thorough understanding of  curriculum management
• proven communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical and problem solving capabilities
• excellent organisational and time management skills with a methodical approach to their responsibilities and a good attention to detail
• the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions and design appropriate processes

This is a permanent post with a minimum salary of £64,690 per annum.
