From staff retirement and increased intakes of trainee educational psychologists, the Manchester Institute of Education (MIE) at the University of Manchester seeks to appoint four posts (all posts 2 years fixed term, renewable upon extension of DfE funding for educational psychology professional training). Successful candidates will work as part of a small, committed team providing academic and professional support to trainee educational psychologists. Applicants must be an HCPC registered practising educational psychologist.

Applicants in full time employment are expected to have undertaken initial discussion with line managers about the possibility of secondment from that post.

Within the application (additional information section), applicants must submit a personal statement relating to this post (1500 words maximum).

Interviews will be held on 10th and 11th May 2018 for the successful applicants to be appointed from 1st September 2018.

We are looking for at least one of the four post holders to be willing to arrange and supervise 28 days each year of practice placement experience for three trainee EPs within an EP team setting in the west of the north-west of England.
