The role and person

Research has become a key focus for St Andrew’s and our staff are committed to developing new and effective therapeutic strategies based upon a sound evidence base. This is driven by St Andrew’s recently established Research Centre which coordinates the research activities within the organisation, ensuring coordination and research excellence.

The post holder’s role will primarily be to drive the activities of the Research Centre from idea generation through to the dissemination of research findings. We are seeking a researcher with a PhD, ideally in a related discipline (e.g. psychology, mental health), who has at least two years’ experience in designing qualitative and quantitative research studies in addition to data analysis and report writing.

The role will contribute to the design, management, completion and dissemination of high-quality research and service evaluation projects. The post holder will also provide support and advice for a wide variety of research and evaluation projects being carried out by other members of staff at St Andrew’s.
