Assistive Technology Specialist - KTP Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of researchers in cutting-edge applications of technology to enhance the daily lives of older people who require assisted living. 

Based at ExtraCare’s brand new complex in Stoke Gifford, Bristol, adjacent to UWE Bristol’s main campus and the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, you will be responsible for investigating, assessing and trialling technologies for take-up by residents of ExtraCare’s sites across the UK. As well as have an understanding of the real-world context to identify new areas of research and improve the deployability of emerging technologies. 

You will be fully supported by an academic team from Bristol Robotics Laboratory to transfer skills and knowledge into the business. The role will require travel to other ExtraCare sites. 

The position is a 2-year fixed term contract, which includes management and business skills training provided by the national KTP programme and a further £2k per annum dedicated training budget tailored towards your personal development.
