Applications are invited for 2 Research Associate posts in Cardiff University’s School of Computer Science & Informatics. These are full-time, fixed-term posts for 9 months, starting on 1 May 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidates will be dedicated to finding creative solutions and have a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm to undertake world-class research in the field of cyber security in the Internet of Things (IoT). This will involve understanding the security vulnerabilities of IoT devices, the state of the art in IoT cyber protection, and risk modelling to improve the security of IoT devices. You will work closely with Dr Pete Burnap within the Airbus Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Analytics at Cardiff University.  You will possess or expect to receive a PhD in Computer Science or a related area, or have relevant industrial experience.

These are full-time and fixed-term posts for 9 months.

The appointments will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within the grade 6 scale.
