Training and Outreach Manager

Edinburgh Genomics is a leading provider of advanced genomics services combining the latest high-throughput technologies with world-class laboratory and bioinformatics expertise. We are now seeking an experienced Training and Outreach Manager (TOM), with a background in delivering high-quality training in informatics and/or biosciences, to join our talented team, based at the Genome Science Division at the King’s Buildings facility. The successful candidate will develop, market, implement and deliver high-level training in next generation genomics and bioinformatics. You will enjoy the challenges of working in a busy, fast-paced and technology leading environment. An MSc and/or equivalent experience in informatics, bioinformatics or computing applied to biological sciences and delivering high-quality training are essential. Familiarity with programming (Linux shell scripting, R, and Python) and its use in data analysis is highly desirable.

The post is full time and available for 24 months.
