Two Postdoctoral Research Fellows are required for the ERC-funded project “International Organisations and the Rise of a Global Metrological Field” led by Dr Sotiria Grek. Focusing on the policy areas of Education and Development, the project investigates the interrelationships of International Organisations in producing global metrics, in order to cast light on the impact of the global metrological field on transnational governance.

You will have a PhD in social science or history on a relevant topic, and experience of interdisciplinary research in one or more of the areas of Public Policy, Science and Technology Studies or Anthropology.  You will have expertise in discourse analysis and interviewing, as well as an excellent grasp of the policy studies literature and sociology of knowledge; familiarity with scholarly work on sustainable development; and a willingness to work across your own field of expertise. Frequent travel in the US and Europe is required.

These two full-time fixed-term posts are available for 35 hours per week from as early as 3 December 2018 until 31 March 2021.
