We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging colleague to lead on the implementation of the University of Liverpool’s Policy for the Responsible Use of Metrics in Research Assessment, and to provide expert advice on effective and appropriate use of publications metrics. You will be involved in designing and delivering relevant training, liaising closely with academic faculties (both academic and professional services colleagues) to communicate the policy principles, and establishing systems to monitor the progress in the use of responsible metrics across the institution. Based in the Library’s Open Research team, you will be comfortable engaging with academic and professional services colleagues at all levels in the university structure.
The post is offered on a full-time basis, hybrid working with a mixture of on and off-campus work, for a fixed term up to 31st July 2025.
