The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HE Lecturer to work in close collaboration with colleagues across both the Children and Young People and Education and Early Years degree programmes where the successful candidate will deliver excellence in teaching and learning. The successful candidate will teach a range of modules across both programmes, including on the Foundation Year, L4, L5 and L6, including part-time provision and with a possible evening session. There are also opportunities and expectations to contribute to the development of a dynamic, innovative and high-quality Higher Education and Higher Level Skills portfolio across the Faculty of Health, Education and Community in partnership with our awarding bodies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in inspirational teaching with excellent subject knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of inspirational teaching and learning and excellent subject knowledge
  • Industry experience within one or both disciplines
  • Experience of HE teaching of either discipline
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  • Be qualified to Masters Level in either discipline
