Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent

If you have advanced digital marketing experience and are ambitious to lead a high-performing team, we welcome an application from you.

You will be enthusiastic, solutions-oriented, naturally inquisitive and be passionate about delivering digital experiences that inform, educate and inspire audiences.

You will be responsible for curating and managing content and intuitive experiences on the University’s website and virtual discovery platform - so proven experience of content management systems, website governance, permissions and training is essential. Direct experience of Squiz CMS would be desirable, but is not required.

You will lead the team in ensuring our competitive edge in search engine optimisation to drive high-intent traffic to our website, and take a leading role in developing and implementing our SEO strategy.

You will have up-do-date knowledge of accessibility standards and requirements and will ensure that the team delivers on our equality, diversity and inclusion objectives.

The team is committed to developing advanced insights into user behaviour, and therefore experience of producing reports in GA4 is essential, and experience of UX insight and design is desirable.

Experience of the higher education sector is desirable, but all applicants must be passionate about the value of digital marketing to deliver a sector-leading digital experience for prospective students, customers and partners to help us to achieve our strategic objectives. This is a hybrid role usually based two days per week on campus (at Greenwich) plus three days working remotely.

Should you have any informal enquiries regarding the role please contact the Head of Digital Marketing Richard Garrett r.m.garratt@greenwich.ac.uk

Should you have any queries please contact the HR Recruitment Team at peopleoperationsmer@gre.ac.uk
