Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
We are looking for someone who will work as part of a wider 3D Workshop team which provides induction and support in specialist 3D creative processes and techniques. You will apply your knowledge and skills to plan and deliver student inductions about relevant processes and prepare learning materials to aid staff and students. You will work flexibly, providing assistance & supervision to support learning, teaching, assessment and research activities whilst observing and following Health and Safety practices, processes and guidelines as defined by the University and legislation at all times.
Applicants should be aware that this role involves some flexibility in working hours and could include evening sessions and occasional Saturdays when required.
The successful applicant should hold a degree in the arts that incorporates significant 3D making techniques and be able to demonstrable the ability to instruct and support in technical processes such as:
Previous experience in assisting or instructing others is essential to this role as well as being able to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
