Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work at the ESRC Centre for Population Change & Connecting Generations (CPC-CG). The CPC-CG partnership brings together researchers from the Universities of Southampton, St Andrews, Stirling, Oxford, and the Resolution Foundation to understand how different generations provide support to each other across the different stages of their lives. The Post-doctoral Research Fellow will work on the project of Social and spatial mobility within and across generations. They will investigate patterns and processes of spatial and social mobility, and the relationship between them, in the UK context.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in a social science discipline or should be close to submitting their PhD thesis. They should have experience in handling longitudinal data. Good communication and time management skills are essential.
The post is available for 24 months starting 1st February 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
