We have an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Associate to join our high performing team. The opening will work on the University's recognition programmes for Cambridge's most generous and important donors and to take our major donors' engagement to a new level. This includes the Guild of Cambridge Benefactors who have given more than £1million. 

We have ambitious plans to enhance our engagement programmes at Cambridge and this role will play an important part in increasing its breadth and depth with our donors. The role will be designing and implementing a programme through a segmented, data-driven approach and targeted engagement. 

This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in data-driven engagement programmes and strong project management experience, as well as excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building credentials. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and thrives on building meaningful connections and fostering relationships. 

The role is in a small Donor Relations team who are part of the Directorate of Advancement Communications and Engagement. The Donor Relation team cultivates and maintains relationships with donors to foster a sense of gratitude and engagement. They manage impact reporting communications, gift thanking, and recognition programmes to ensure donors feel appreciated and connected to the university's mission and impact.
