About the role:

As a Senior Desktop Support Analyst, you will provide essential second and third line desktop support to site users.  You will maintain operational responsibility for the installation, maintenance and support of desktop hardware, software and services (including but not limited to PCs, Macs, mobile devices and printers), as well as be a key contributor to related projects.

About you:

You will be an experienced IT professional with hands-on experience providing exceptional IT support to a diverse user community.  You will able to apply specialist technical and operational understanding in support of site desktop computing, whilst at the same time demonstrating high levels of responsibility and professionalism. You will have the capability to lead on high profile projects, manage staff and maintain accountability for associated resources.

You will be a team player and able to maintain a motivated team who work in a seamless way with colleagues across the centre. You will possess excellent organisational skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and adapting between proactive and reactive workloads. A key requirement will be the ability to form effective working relationships with staff of various levels of seniority and disciplines and build and maintain long term relationships across the wider organisation, stakeholders and suppliers.
