Lecturer (Education) Psychology

The School of Psychology at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to recruit a Lecturer (Education) who will contribute to the delivery of an innovative and relevant education portfolio (UG and PGT) in line with the teaching and learning strategy of the School, fully utilising digital platforms.

The successful candidate will deliver Psychology teaching to the UG and/or PGT programmes in line with the teaching needs of the School, including tutorials, lectures, seminars, lab classes and research project supervision and contribute to employability provision across programmes.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduate honours or postgraduate degree in Psychology.
• Have a PhD in a relevant area of psychological research.
• Recent experience of using a range of methods to deliver high quality teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level to include employability as well as Psychology.
• Proven ability to provide effective supervision to undergraduate and/or MSc research projects.
• Proven ability to enhance existing modules or develop and manage new modules or courses at both UG and PGT levels as required.
• Proven ability to deal with student interactions in a professional and competent manner and to provide high-quality student support.
