The School of Life and Health Sciences at the University of Roehampton is in a unique position to be recruiting to multiple roles within Health Sciences to support and enrich our current and future provision across our Allied Health programmes within the School.

As an established academic provider of Life Sciences for over two decades, we are proud of our impact in many areas of society through our international research which contributed to an overall 3* rating for the University of Roehampton Allied Health Professions Unit of Assessment in REF 2021. Furthermore, since launching our Healthcare provision in 2019, we have established a quality reputation for our Nursing provision achieving 2nd in the UK for student satisfaction in Nursing (Complete University Guide 2025) and 1st in England for Nursing in the Guardian League Table 2025. These research and education accolades demonstrate our commitment to delivering positive impact and making a difference in Life and Health Sciences.

Our specialist facilities include a state-of the-art health and simulation facility and £3.2m Health Innovation Hub boasting a range of simulated healthcare settings and clinical spaces for allied health provision. Furthermore, our science facilities consist of state-of-the-art equipment housed in our specialist laboratories spanning biomechanics and movement analysis, exercise physiology, and anatomy and nutritional suites. These spaces enable us to offer realistic, stimulating applied learning for our undergraduate and postgraduate students. Staff and students have access to a world class library and spacious campus grounds. The School has successful partnerships with the NHS and private, independent, and third sector organisations and works closely with stakeholders to ensure the next generation of health professionals and scientists are fit for the future and ready to make a positive impact in society.
