Building our student-focused education is central to our Sydney in 2032 strategy and our 2023-26 Enterprise Agreement. We want all our students to attest to the transformational impact a Sydney education has on their lives; from the sense of belonging in the classroom and collaborating with industry and community partners on real issues, to the infectious passion and innovative curricula of their teachers.

Offering a clear education-focused academic career pathway, the Sydney Horizon Educators scheme recognises and supports talented university educators, providing access to a range of professional development opportunities, including educational fellowship accreditation through the internationally-recognised Advance HE, and grants to support educational innovation.
