Growth of our Multinational University Named as ‘International University of the Year’ in the 2018 Times and Sunday Times University Guide, we have over the past 30 years developed into a truly multinational institution that operates across campuses in Dubai in UAE, Putrajaya in Malaysia, and Edinburgh, Galashiels and Orkney in Scotland, as well as through numerous partnerships that span the globe from east to west and north to south:
We also have developed an unsurpassed international in-country presence beyond our campuses, delivering degree programmes to independent distance learners. Around a third of our students study through these routes in most countries around the world. Combined with campus-based study in Dubai and Malaysia, around two-thirds of our students study outside of the UK.
The Edinburgh Campus is set in 380 acres of established parkland. Over many years significant investments have been made in the campus. It is home to Oriam, Scotland’s National Performance Centre for Sport providing unparalleled sport and fitness facilities, the Lyell Centre occupied jointly with the British Geological Survey, the Global Research Innovation and Discovery (GRID) facility that supports entrepreneurial creativity for students, staff and business, and the recently completed National Robotarium.
One of the world’s most beautiful cities with an exceptional quality of life, Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital and a great place to live and study.
Perfectly situated at the pulsating heart of Scotland's luxury textile industry, our Borders campus delivers the best design and production facilities for textiles and fashion in the UK.
Orkney's stunning setting, extensive natural resources, ties to the marine industry and friendly community make a distinctive learning environment.
Our Dubai campus cultivates a truly multi-cultural environment in which our students and employees live to the full, make lasting friendships and enjoy everything that one of the world’s greatest cities has to offer.
Our Malaysia campus, located at Putrajaya, 25km south of Kuala Lumpur, is situated in a stunning lakeside location of 4.8 acres.
