About University
China Agricultural University (CAU) was founded in 1905 and is located in Beijing, the capital city of China. CAU is one of the "Double First Class Initiative", 985 project, 211 project universities in China, ranking top 30 in China and top 200 in the US News global university ranking. It is home to 19 colleges and 1 department covering nine major disciplines: agronomy, engineering, science, economics, management, law, liberal arts, arts, and interdisciplinary studies. CAU has over 29,000 students and more than 3,000 faculty and staff members.
About CAU-UOS Joint Institute
The CAU-UOS Joint Institute is a joint education institute between China Agricultural University (CAU) and University of Surrey (UOS) and will begin enrollment in September, 2026. It offers three undergraduate programs in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Electronic Engineering, each admitting 100 students annually. The Institute follows a 4+0 dual-degree model, enabling students to earn degrees from both universities while studying entirely in China.
