High Performance Manufacturing Group of the University of the Basque Country is a leading research group in Spain working on manufacturing processes. One of the research topics are additive manufacturing processes an its integration on high added value machine tolos. The research group present 4-5 PhD and more tan 15 indexed journal papers per year. More info at

Main functions
The work is focused on a Project with industrial and research centers partnership. 

The functions are focus on a CAD/CAM module development for the programming of additive and machining operations in a hybrid manufacturing system. 
The work is focused to finish in a PhD on Additive manufacturing optimum strategies programming.

In order to start the PhD, the requirements are a Master Science in mechanical engineering. 
Spanish is not necessary but is highly recommended.
