Visiting Lecturer - Variable hours

(the hourly pay rate is a comprehensive “scheduled teaching hour rate” which includes payment for more than one hours teaching in recognition of additional work undertaken associated with the teaching commitment, typically this equates to a payment of 1.5 hours additional hours for each hour of teaching)

We are holding a Marjon Visiting Lecturer Talent Pool Recruitment event for prospective opportunities to contribute to the range of programmes across the Faculty including Sport related disciplines, Osteopathy, Speech and Language, Psychology, Psychotherapy & Counselling.

Applications are invited for individuals who would be interested in becoming involved in our undergraduate and post graduate programmes, in support of our significant development and ambitious learning, research and engagement agenda. 

This could include teaching, marking assessments, running seminar groups, offering expert research or technical seminars, presenting keynote lectures, supervising UG and PG projects. 

Successful applicants should hold a Masters degree or comparable professional experience with sufficient breadth of knowledge and/or depth of specialist knowledge of the relevant field (including current practice) to work within our programmes. Teaching experience in Higher Education would be an advantage.
