The Queen’s Film Theatre is a unique cultural venue with almost 50 years of experience of bringing a high quality film experience to Belfast audiences. The QFT is also a friendly, intimate cinema that values it is audiences, as without their loyalty, support and interest in our programme, QFT would not be able to exist.

The QFT continues to be the lead organisation for Film Hub NI, part of the British Film Institute’s Film Audience Network (FAN) until March 2022. As part of FAN’s strategy to ensure the greatest choice of film is available for everyone, Film Hub NI have been appointed the Lead in Non-Theatrical Exhibition (NTE).

We are looking to recruit a Project Assistant who will assist in the delivery of Film Hub NI’s strategic priorities in their role as FAN Lead in Non-Theatrical Exhibition.

This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships across the UK with sectoral bodies and FAN, providing information to key parties, and administration of data and information for the NTE sector. This post is available part time working 0.3 FTE per week.

Anticipated interview date: Thursday 5 July 2018

Salary scale: £17,326 - £20,411 per annum (potential to progress to £21,585 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
