Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor, the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources and Estates and Facilities Departments. Key responsibilities include serving as a member of the President’s Executive and University Board, participating fully in the strategic and operational management of the University, managing change, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for both estates and human resources.
A strategic, commercially minded, results-oriented Vice President and Chief Operating Officer is required to fill this key role at the University. A record of achievement in a similar role, preferably in higher education is required. Candidates must be able to develop effective networks and good working relationships with a wide range of people. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant contribution to the overall management of the University’s Estates and Human Resources Departments.
