Food for Health Ireland (FHI) is a leading global innovation centre for the development of nutritional functional ingredients to improve health, wellness and quality of life. FHI’s mission is to leverage the world class scientific capabilities of its Irish academic partners (University College Dublin, Teagasc Moorepark and Ashtown, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, University of Limerick, NUI Galway and Maynooth University) with the market expertise of its industry partners (Carbery Group, Dairygold Food Ingredients, Glanbia Ireland, Kerry Group), into a pipeline of innovative, nutritional, functional ingredients / products for the global food industry. FHI is funded by Enterprise Ireland and FHI’s industry partners. In October 2018, FHI will enter its third phase of funding, focusing on the development of its outstanding scientific capabilities and the commercialisation of the outputs of the first and second phases.
Applications are invited for the post of FHI Operations Manager to be based at the host institute University College Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the centre including research progress and budgetary management and reporting. The Operations Manager will work with the Centre Director and the Centre Steering Committee in executing the strategy and will develop and implement appropriate procedures and policies to ensure that the FHI centre meets its agreed objectives. The successful candidate will report to the FHI Centre Director.

Salary: €56,590 - €89,000 per annum
