We are looking for individuals with the ability to support the teaching and assessment of a variety of modules across the department, particularly for those with subject knowledge of the following areas:

  •  Human Resource Management
  •  Organisation Studies
  •  Marketing
  •  International Business
  •  Strategic Management
  •  Operations Management
  •  Enterprise

As an Associate Lecturer you will contribute towards the teaching and marking primarily at an undergraduate level, although some opportunities may arise for contributions at postgraduate level.

This work will be offered on a flexible and part time basis as agreed with the Associate Head of Department.

The rate of pay is £16.87 - £20.13 per hour (based on experience) on our G grade lecturing pay scale.

This is a temporary part-time role, to take up teaching duties from September 2018.

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area or professional equivalent qualification
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to teaching
  • Experience of teaching in a relevant field
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of people
  • The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with students and colleagues
  • Preparedness to be flexible and co-operative in approach
