The School of Social Sciences at BGU continues to grow in size, academic portfolio and reputation. We are delighted to be embarking on a significant new staffing recruitment phase across several of our key courses. The School is a great place to work and develop. The School has three simple objectives, to ensure that students have a great experience, that students are equipped with the skills required to get a job and finally that students has access to latest thinking in research and knowledge. We do this in an environment of trust, delegation and where everyone can achieve their full potential.
The University is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and versatile Lecturer for Psychology. You will have a Doctorate in a relevant aspect of the subject (or be approaching completion) and an appropriate track record of research and be eligible for graduate membership of the BPS. You will also be able to evidence teaching on a range of undergraduate modules and demonstrate the capacity to supervise dissertation students. In return we will offer an excellent working environment on a single-campus university close to the heart of the historic city of Lincoln.
The subject of Psychology was introduced in 2013. Since then it has grown in both student numbers and in the breadth of the staff base. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the further development of the subject at our university.
