Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position in MEMS and Microfabrication

ShanghaiTech University - School of Information Science and Technology (SIST)

Assistant Professor Tao Wu's research group (SMALL) is seeking a self-motivated postdoctoral fellow to work in the areas of ferroelectric and ferromagnetic materials based MEMS transducers and microsystem, with emphasis on applications in piezoelectric MEMS and novel multiferroic sensors. Other research interests of the group include the design of RF MEMS components, energy efficient MEMS devices and novel microfabrication techniques. We invite highly motivated Ph.D. graduates to work with us in these exciting areas. There is currently a position available.

  1. Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Physics or related areas
  2. Strong publication record in micro-/nano-scale fabrication, MEMS, ferroelectric and ferromagnetic materials.
  3. Strong hand-on experience on micro-/nano-scale fabrication and material characterizations.
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Ability to mentor graduate students.
  6. Fluency in written and oral English.
