Three posts are available:
1) 33.15 hours per week (38 weeks per year in University term time)
Working a 4 week rota during term time Monday to Friday and includes early, middle and late shifts.
2) 33.15 hours per week (fixed term ending June 2018)
Working a 4 week rota Monday to Friday and includes early, middle and late shifts. This is a fixed term contract until the end of June 2019.
3) 11.65 hours per week
Working Saturdays and Sundays.
Salary: Grade 2 (pro rata based on 35 hours) per annum, with potential to progress to £17,079 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution. Potential additional earnings through Personal Training may be available subject to qualifications and experience

The facilities include 170 station gym, 33.3m pool, strength and conditioning room, bouldering wall, squash courts, sports hall, studios, extensive outdoor pitch provision.

You will have a key role to play to ensure that we provide a quality sporting experience for students and other customers.
As the post holder you will be expected to provide individual instruction, support, advice and encouragement to customers who use the University’s Fitness Centre, helping them maximise the effectiveness of their health and fitness activities.
Where appropriate you will be asked to teach classes, lead small group sessions and assist with events that may take place away from the fitness centre.
Personal training may also be available for those who have the right amount of experience, knowledge and ability!
